PitchCentric | A Product Site That Demonstrates the Product

PitchCentric replaces the podcast booking spreadsheet with a platform that does the research. The site is built around a live catalog of more than 800,000 podcast show pages, each carrying four figures a publicist would otherwise spend a week assembling: a Booking Probability score refreshed hourly, a Listen Score out of 100, a virality reading, and the date of that show's last guest episode.

Making a Data Claim Verifiable on Sight

  • The Challenge
A catalog of that size creates its own credibility problem. Any platform can claim 800,000 records, the claim cannot be checked from outside, and it sounds like the number quoted when there is nothing more specific to say.

Underneath it sits a harder product question. Volume is not the value. A publicist does not need more shows, they need to know which are worth a pitch, and data that does not answer that question produces a longer list rather than a better one. The build also ran to a fixed timeline, with first pages live by mid-May 2026, private beta in early June and public launch on 21 August 2026.

The Approach

Arguing by Demonstration Rather Than Description

Centric built the site so the product is visible and working before any copy explains it.

Live Data on the Surface
Every featured card carries a live Booking Probability percentage, a Listen Score, days since that show's last guest episode and a virality reading, with a visible refresh timestamp counting in minutes. A visitor watches the product work before reading a line about what it does. In a category where stale data is the norm, showing the data's age is itself the differentiator.

Segmented Audience Routing
Three audience pages address founders, in-house communications teams and agencies separately, all routing to a single pricing page presenting the tiers side by side so a visitor self-selects. A weekly research page pulls trending topics and companies live from the full catalog with real multipliers against baseline, refreshed every Monday, which is why it reads as editorial rather than as a features grid.

Catalog Pages as Acquisition Channel
Each show page was built as a standalone entry point for organic search, so the catalog functions as a route into the product rather than a feature behind a login. An AI Connect page documents the platform's own MCP server, allowing a visitor to run the same catalog search and pitch writer inside Claude or ChatGPT without returning to the site, which is also why AI assistants can cite the catalog directly.

The Outcome

The Catalog Became the Traffic

The site drew 17,653 sessions from 16,197 unique users in its first full month, with 17,210 of those sessions coming from first-time visitors. In search it has earned 1,094 clicks against 118,248 impressions since June, with July alone delivering 824 clicks and 90,418 impressions.

Depth Beyond the Homepage
The homepage took 4,955 sessions and the catalog took the rest, with nine individual show pages clearing 300 sessions on their own strength, the strongest at 1,061 and 1,050.

884 AI Assistant Citations
Clarity recorded an overall 18.88% share of authority, rising well above that average on commercially intentful questions, including 41.67% on podcast pitch and 40.91% on podcast guest name. Asked directly what the Listen Score, Booking Probability and virality readings mean, assistants cite the platform 100% of the time.

Low Friction Through the Conversion Path
Visitors moved through the sequence the pricing page was built for, producing 73 outbound clicks, 59 contact actions, 48 logins, 46 form submissions and 16 sign-ups, with rage clicks at 0.10% of sessions and quick back clicks at 0.86%.

Building Products That Sell Themselves on Sight

Where a product's value is data, the fastest proof is exposing the data rather than describing it.

Centric builds product sites that demonstrate before they explain, structure catalog content as an acquisition channel in its own right, and ship AI-native interfaces so the product remains usable inside the assistants customers already work in.
